I'll be at NAMM today and will provide a simple photo of the Genz booth if indeed it is there... which hopefully it will be.

I also heard that Fender, Gibson, EBMM, Ibanez and Rickenbacker are shutting down too...
Then we'll all have to play BC Rich.
Or quit...
I'd quit.

I saw Jeff Genzler pan handling outside the convention center in Anaheim yesterday. He had a sign that said " will work for swr". Guess its true.

Anyone else notice that there's absolutely nothing in this photo that suggests Fender thinks high end micros are worth producing? Just rehashed 60 year old backbreakers...

My guess is not, but wouldn't bet my streamliner on it

does fender even need to worry about micros? there's room for micros and tubes and hybrids, right? this is more of a question than a statement......

I heard from a guy who heard from a guy that Fender is no longer going to make a P-Bass. OMG. In sure the Jazz Bass is next.

Can anyone at NAMM confirm? This could be one of FMIC's worst decisions, but we should discuss.

Winner!
Have to admit that made me laugh

Assuming things are not going well for GB, which does look like a reasonable assumption based on the lack of press, and lack of presence at NAMM; I wonder how the GB buyout was structured? Perhaps Mr. G received a big ol' box of cash and composition was not tied to future sales or stock.
Also curious how this will affect the used market as the brand loyalty is so high based on the history of a first class, stand up company with direct owner involvement.
