I wanted to share my recent experience w/TC and Donovan Bankhead:
About a month ago, while unloading after a weekend of out of town gigs, one of my 2X10 TC cabs (that was standing upright due to a very full Ford Explorer being packed to ceiling with 3 of 5 band members gear) did a "roll and bounce" out the back door and of course hit, not the grass, but the driveway, on the corner of the cab, putting a nice crack right at the rounded corner. Not horrible, but certainly cause for concern. Plugged it in, all components appear to still work, but what to do about the box itself? Eventually, the split could get worse, finished chipped off in a spot, fears of the crack widening with continued travel and use, etc.
So I contact Donovan from the forum here who I bought the entire system from and enquired about the possibility of buying a new box and then just putting the guts back into that. Donovan speaks to a TC associate and they UPS me a brand new cab in exchange for the cab that took the driveway dive...now how amazing is that! |

Glad things worked out so well for you! | +1 When in the US and buying from a company overseas, a great retailer (Donovan with TC, Glenn at Austin Bass Traders for TecAmp, etc.) is key to having a good service and support experience if you have problems. |

I'll try and swing a repair on the corner myself, and most importantly, have to say how great the company is, again! |

I've been fortunate to get to know some of the GREAT people at TC North America. They are VERY nice people - and they "get" the type of customer service that I believe in (solve every issue in a way that makes customers almost GLAD they had a problem! .
Oh, and I think nofrets5 meant to say that he now has 3 2x10 cabs... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
