!! Amp on but not making sound? !!

I'm in band practice right now and we were practicing when my amp cut out. I was running my Bass Big Muff through it and it cut out. Not the cables, not my bass. It still turns on but it doesnt produce a sound, the preamp signal LED doesnt light either. What could the problem be? Amp is a Fender Bassman 250/210.

Take everything out of the signal chain.

Use a known good cable, plug one end into your instrument, plug the other end into the amp/head input.

make sure volume levels, gain are up sufficiently.

Test.

If you still get no sound, you could try plugging your guitar into the power amp in and see if you get a signal.

Good luck.....
