I'm new here so I can't wait to jump in and learn some things from ya'll. I'm an older drummer and guitar player so I am a novice on the Bass and am craving some insight
The PF-115HE cabinets are, IMHO, great sounding, sealed, 1-15" driver loaded cabinets.
Just don't expect to play it at heavy metal volumes.
At some of our smaller/lower volume jobs, I've run my one 115HE powered with my G.K. MB2-500 head with good results.
Do a T.B. search, there's been several threads on the Ampeg PF-115HE cabinet.
Stay with your G.B. head and stay away from the PF-500 heads.......(I've had two of them burn-out on me.)
Great sounding but "very" unreliable heads.
