Amp Heads that pair well with a couple of 2x12s

So I finally took the plunge and am getting rid of my American Ampeg 4x10. I bought a pair of GK NEO 2x12s and for the time being I can use my Line 6 HD400, but I want to sell my ampeg and use the money to help get a better quality head.

I am keeping a small range for my budget, somewhere between $700-900 and I am looking for something that can push 700 watts at 4 ohms least.

Music Background: Ok so I play in a prog/metal band that leans much more to the prog side of things I like my tone mostly clean with only the slightest hint of crunch on it. I like a well defined tone that has alot of punch and isn't too warm.

Amps I have looked at:
GK MB800
GK 1001-RB II
SWR Working Pro 700
Genz-Benz Shuttle 9.0
Ampeg SVT7-PRO

Any reccomendations amongst those would be helpful... If I need to provide any other info for you to make a recommend then let me know.

For the tonal preferences, music genre(s), power requirements and budget restrictions that you've cited, the GK 1001RB-II is the clear winner - by a mile, IMO. As for the GK MB800, it's not even on the market yet - unless I've missed something...

Even if the MB800 was on the market right now, for your purposes I'd still get the 1001RB-II. Just do it. You won't be sorry...
