Question Amp Help Need!!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi everybody!
Recently sold my T.C. Electronic RH 450, and now looking for good amp.
I need clean and punch sound, something like Aguilar DB 750 - sounds very good for me, but it is so heavy!
Are there any amp on market with Aguilar DB 750 sounding but more lightweight and compact? Or good sound=high weight?

Did you compare little mark and Aguilar DB 750 or T.C. Electronic RH 450?
What mark do you have?

I have a little mark III. I almost went with the tube 800 but the similiar sound and punch and the lower price won me over

Which aspects did you like about the Aguilar? Not speaking from personal experience, but I've heard people compare the Genz Benz Streamliner to the Aguilar.

Aguilar has very clear sound - transparent high, clean and round low, powerful mid.
My RH450 don`t have all this. My friend have Streamliner, and it has more high then RH 450, but low is terrible and all sounding is poor.
I am from Ukraine and my English is sucks like our economics) in my country is difficult to find a good amp in store (only Ampeg or budget amps). Everything I ever had I bought on ebay or this forum (or similar site). I heard a lot of amps, but didn`t hear Mesa M6 and markbass. I don`t want to bay this devises only to test it. So that`s why I need help!
My current set up is:
Fender Jazz (1969), Mike Lull M5, Kudritsky Invader custom bass
Zvex wooly mamoth, EBS octabas, valvedirve, tremolo, and unichorus
Ampeg svt3 with HLF410, RS210 cab and RH 450 (sold few days)
I`d want to get sound like Paul Turner (Jamiroquai)
Thanks for all!

Genz Benz has a great reputation for customer service.
At 6 pounds and 600 watts, the Streamliner 600 is a good amp.
