What amps match up well with the Chi Sonics? I'm just looking for a classic..hold the low end down sound. No slapping here. Any idea how the match up with the Mark Bass line?
You're probably going to get a fair amount of answers. I haven't tried my two Chi-loaded Laklands with Markbass amps, but I think the vintage-voiced Chis pair very nicely with my Mesa Walkabout head/combo. And the EQ on the head is quite flexible.
If you're willing to go the tube route, my Decade sounds great through my Ampeg V-4B as well.

It doesn't work quite like that, matching a bass to an amp. It's more just a matter of personal preferences tonally, and whatever you require volume-wise.
