amp rack help.

Sign in to disble this ad
I am using an SWR bass 350 head. I just purchased a
behringer compressor pro mdx2200
and a
behringer virtualizer pro dsp 1000p

I have everything plugged up and all the pretty lights seem to blink at all the right times but I cant seem to get the compressor to compress, and I cant seem to get the virtualizer to virtualize.
I literally have no Idea what I am doing. I am used to playing bass out of an old peavey solid state combo and all this pro type stuff confuses me.

So i guess my question is, Does anybody know where or how to plug what where and how to make the effects work??
any help at all would be most appreciated. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/images/smilies/help.gif

Effects "send" from the amp to the "in" of one unit, "out from that unit to the "in" of the next unit, "out" from that unit to the effects "return" of the amp. Should work.

Thanks will33. I did not have the "from the out to the return of the amp" however. I still cant seem to get anything to work. Its neat looking with all the lights going biserker. I guess i will just try to read these manuals.
