Hello all,
I've recently bough a very nice bass, Modulus FB4, and I'm extremely happy with it.
Since I'm new to the technological side of music, does anyone recommend a great amp for about 1200?
I would like something which is about 300w with possibility of adding another speaker.
Thanks!

| | | | forgot to add that the salesperson at my local music store highly recommended the Markbass little Mark which is 300 watts. It seems like a solid choice, but I was wondering if anyone had other recs. |

I'd suggest you go out and play through everything available to you, and get a feel for what you might like. All anyone here can do is tell you what they like, which helps you none. Go forth, and play some amps.

On the flipside, my Bergantino HT210 (see sig below) was exquisite when paired with a Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 and my Quantum 5.

hey, used you could put that rig together for $1200 if you're patient
but seriously, i agree with ricken. i loved the lmiii, used to have one. but you need to go play through a few amps and pick the one YOU like, not what we like.

Never been happier with another rig. Its a breaze to load in and out, sounds out of this world awesome, is 375 watts expandable with another 8ohm cab to 600 watts...really you just cant go wrong. I think your modulus would sound KILLER through this rig.
