Amp selection dilemma, Kustom or Hartke

I was about to pull the trigger on a new Hartke LH1000 when I came across a used Kustom Groove 1200.

I'm still green so I would like to know what you guys would do?

Keep in minds that I will be getting an Avatar 410 NEO and ad another in the future. Maybe a 212 NEO.

I'm going to vote for the Hartke. I had the Kustom for years and never did like any tones I got out of it. Plus it felt massively underpowered for it's claimed power output. My Crate BT350 (which was rated conservatively although at much lower numbers IIRC) would run circles around it in tone and in volume. I know one of those is subjective, but I never liked it. Bland to the max and it couldn't do any tone except for grown-up boring practice amp.

Hartke all the way. They have the tone (Fender tone stack) and are reliable. Call Larry and ask him.

My LH500 sounds pretty good with an Avatar 210. I also like the support that Larry Hartke shows around here. That was a factor in my decision too.

Kustom? No thanks.

Hartke LH1000 is a very versatile amp you will be pleased w it.
