amp selection-need some advice

I'm looking to buy a new amp and am wondering if anyone could give me some opinions on witch direction to go. I'm looking into the Fender TB1200, the SWR SM1500, the Genz Benz GBE1200, the Gallien Krueger Fusion 1050, the Ampeg SVT-4PRO, and the Warwick Tubepath 10.1. My problem is no where near me usually stocks the higher end stuff from these companys so I am not able to try them for my self. I play mostly metal, and prefere a punchy heavy but not overly crunchy sound. if someone has some advice it would help me out alot, also if it matters i will most likely be buying the matching 810 from most of these companys, unless there is some advice for me there to

Of those choices, I would (and did ) choose the GBE 1200, largely because I felt that it was the best compromise between "warmth" and solid-state cut, with enough oomph to make sure I was felt. Additionally, I love the EQ possibilities and the service is second to none. As an added bonus, their cabinets are, IMO and IME, phenomenal, especially for the tone you're looking for.

I would also recommend looking into Mesa Carbine amps, either the M6 or the M9. I have been using an M6 for over a year now and love it just as much as my GBE 1200. Same quickness and pop, but smoother through the mids and with a bigger bottom that really delivers a wallop. Can't go wrong with either of those... IMO, of course.
