| Amp Troubleshooting/Repair Question

Hey all, I posted this in the repair forum, but thought I'd repost here in case one o you can help...
My amp (an SVT 4PRO US, 2000?) has been going in and out intermittently. This occurs randomly, and I don't think it's due to any overheating issues as it has happened as it's happened before as soon as I've turned the amp on.
The peak light flashes on. The amp may stay off for a few seconds, then it comes back on. I recently replaced the preamp tubes, hoping this would remedy the problem, but it persists.
Also, the amp seems to be underpowered.
I have troubleshot the cables/bnass electronics etc (it happens on multiple basses) and I've even removed the amp from its rack to ensure good air circulation.
Does this type of problem ring a bell with anybody? Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
