Hey JimmyM! Played a couple 410HLF cabs with a GK 1001 head last night ( rental gear tour overseas) Sounded pretty damn good! Rolled off the tweeter and backed off on the high and hi- mid on the head and did the job quite nicely. There, I said it. I liked an all 10 set- up?!
LOL! Well I guess it happens I'm surprised it worked, though...I always thought the 1001RB was only 4 ohm capable and two of those cabs are a 2 ohm load. Either I was wrong about that or that's a really stout head. In any event, sounds ike you are having a great time, even playing Ampeg 10's. Have fun and get back safely so you can go right back out with Keb' Mo'!
