Ampeg 115 volume level randomly rises and drops

I just got it back from a friend and its been a couple years and now the volume level is randomly dropping and rising.

i think im going to either call the company or a local store, depending whatever is cheaper.

also is it safe to have 2 bassist playing through one amp?

It's more like an amp problem than a speaker problem.

I wouldn't run 2 guitars through one amp. I have seen it done (by idiot little kids) but I never would
