Ampeg 210AV X2 vs 410he
Thinking about picking up a pair of Ampeg 210AV cabs to use with my V4BH. Theyre 8 ohm 200 watt cabs. How would they compare volume wise to the 410he, 8 ohm 500watt cab. ANyone have experience with both setups?

Get the two 210's so you have a lower volume choice for certain shows. Stacking those 210's vertically sounds plenty loud (most likely as loud or better) and will disperse frequencies better than the 410he will. You will hear yourself better on stage with vertical stacking. I know, it's a mantra on talkbass. However, I do it all the time and do not miss my dual 410 rigs at all.
For a metal band or something quite loud - get two 410's and blast off. Two 210's might not work well for that application unless you don't mind less low end and have PA support all the time.

I'm not sure how the 210 cabs compare to the 410he. What I know my early '90's 410he sounded WONDERFUL. It wasn't a low end beast, but the sound it made was just plain beautiful. I wish I still had it.
