Ampeg 2x15 cab question

Sign in to disble this ad
I bought an ampeg 2x15 cab around 1981. It was not very deep compared to other Ampeg cabs I seen. It had 1 XLR input jack and (I hope I'm recalling this correctly) a switch to change the impedance of the cab. It came with a dolly (the cab weighed in around 80lbs) and a cover. For me it was a great cab combined with my Sunn Coliseum 300 -it had lots of mids and highs for a simple 2x15, but because of the size/weight I traded it for a Kustom cab around 1985. (The Kustom cab fit in my car).
Are there any ampeg aficionados who could tell me what model this might have been? Anybody have this cab?

Thanks!

I'll take first stab. B25B. I had one in the late '70s. Nice cab for the era, could've used better drivers. I used to be able to fit mine into my '73 Z-28's back seat. Fliptops.net has repros. http://www.fliptops.net/catalog/imag...ABCOMBOPIC.jpg
