Ampeg 410 HE with a 410HLN?

I have an 410HLN that I love, I have a line on a used 410 HE and wondered about pairing it with my HLN and biamping it. Should I?

I wouldn't buy it to biamp. I suppose you could but they're designed to use full range, and biamping works way better with cabs designed for it IMHO.

+1 not sure what the difference is between the 2 cabs, but so long as they're both 8 ohms, it should be ok. But biamping is only useful if you have a properly designed crossover, and cabs optimized for certain frequencies. 2 full range cabs, such as both of those mentioned, are NOT.

One is 4 and the other is 8. Guess you are right biamp won't work. Hmm...OK thanks

Yeah, and the combination of an 8 ohm 410 with a 4 ohm 410 would not be good either.
