ampeg 4x10 hlf amp pairing

Sign in to disble this ad
i acquired an ampeg 4x10 hlf for an absolute steal recently, and im wondering if my ashdown 310 watt amp will drive it sufficiently, this is just a sort of stepping stone rig to a genz-benz shuttle 9.0 and a berg nv 610 rig. im not gigging that much at the minute either, and the ampeg is only rated at 400 watts. IT would be nice to know some of your oppinions thanks .

The SvT 410HLF cab( 4 OHMS ) is rated at 500watts. I have run my svtCL head (300 watts) into my cab and its great. Doesn't sound like you should have any trouble.
