| Ampeg 6x10 sound

I plugged into an Ampeg 6 x10 recently and loved the sound, it's ported and has a tweeter. I don't know if the tweeter was on or not. What would be it's equivelent in a 15 inch speaker. I have a couple of 3015's sitting around that I would like to put to use. I tried them in a really small 2 x 15 and thought they were honky sounding. Help me get that sound.
