Can anyone explain the differences in the speakers of the 810E vs. the Heritage 810E?

I tried looking on www.ampeg.com but couldn't find the info?

THANKS

I ordered both the cab and the head. The tolex/grill....is real pretty.Besides the $$$, The sound seems to be the same but until I get the new CL , the jury is out.

The speakers are a new US made eminence instead of the standard "designed by eminence" speakers in the 810E. Rumor has it that they may be the new Legend B810.

According to flitops, these are the eminence 32 ohm speakers produced for use in many modern 8x10 cabs (likely including the 810E)

While these are a new speaker designed to sound like the original CTS speakers from the vintage cabs, and the ones rumored to be in the new cabs

I currently own one of the new Heritage 8X10's and (while I can't prove it) they "appear" to be the Legend 10s. I yanked one out to look at it, and they are different, yet eerily similar.....

What I CAN tell you for absolute, 100% sure is that they sound GREAT!!

Hope this helps you a little!!
