Ampeg 810e vs. 810av

Looking at buying one of these cabs, can someone tell me the difference other than the price and the grill cloth in these cabs? The specs look exactly the same.

They're constructed the same way, only difference is the grill cloth color. The 810e matches the SVT-CL and the 810AV matches the SVT-VR.

The differences are purely asthetic. The AV was brought out a few years back when ampeg released a bunch of anniversary gear (all similar asthetics).

And as MingusBass points out, it's also a pretty good match to the VR now.

The tolex is a little different too... AV is smoother mo' vintage lookin' vs. the rough less vintage looking E series stuff.
