If I had the dough, a big enough vehicle and a roadie I'd get a Ampeg 8X10 cab for sure. I can't say I'm in love with any of the models of amps they make right how so I might be more inclined to get a Mesa\Boogie or GK head for it. |

I am currently using an SVT 4x10 HLF cab, but I want to try my beloved V4 with something else. I am currently researching cabs, my list of potentials includes:
Fearful 2x15
Aggie 4x12
Ampeg 8x10e
Fearful 1515/66 |

Amps- V4BH, SVT 6Pro, SVT CL. Combo's- BA500, BA210SP, BA112, B100R.
Cabs- SVT18, SVT 410he, SVT15e, SVT 210he, BXT210M
The 6Pro was awesome, used it with Mesa cabs, but what I really miss most is the V4BH and SVT15e. That was just plain kickass, and exactly what I think of when considering the "Ampeg sound".

| | | | SVT-3 Pro. Bought it used for $400, awesome amp. Had it serviced and biased by John Blick and the amp came back sounding 10 times better than when I bought it. |
