Ampeg B-100R Tech Quest.

Hello everyone!

Got an Ampeg Rocket, bought it used so there are some problems with it; for example pluggin' headphones in doesn't quiet the speaker, moreover there is no sound comes from them too! The second problem is power off. It turns off seconds after you switch it!
What's wrong does anybody know?

The delay in powering off is normal. So is a slight pop when it does power off. I don't even remember mine having a headphone Jack. I'll have to check it out when I get home.

It sounds like the headphone jack is probably shot since you aren't getting any signal to the headphones, and the speaker isn't being bypassed. Even if your headphones weren't fucntioning, plugging into the headphone jack should disable the internal speaker on the amp.

+1. I recall the delay at both startup and shutdown. I never used the headphone jack so I can't help there.
