Ampeg B-15 question...

I am interested in an Ampeg B 15 for sale on craigslist. The person selling claims he bought this amp in either '68 or '69 and it's in excellent condition. He also told me it's a solid state amp. Were the B 15's made as solid state amps back then? He is working on putting up pictures, so I haven't seen it yet.

Yes there was a transistor version the B-15T in that time period.

Same cab as the regular B-15 but an all transistor head.

Not as collectable as the all tube versions but not too bad sounding for the era..

If the price is right, you’ll at least get a nice cabinet out of the deal.
