I recently recorded a demo using an old B1 amp at a local studio.

The number of controls/settings available was a bit overwhelming but the recording from the DI sounded great.

I wonder if this amp was made specifically for recording and why it isn't made anymore.

It was an interesting piece, I wish I could have taken it home to play with for a while.

Small but heavy like a stack of bricks.

IIRC, the B1 suffered from overheating and was later reissued as the B1R which included a fan?
