Ampeg B100-R Line Out?

Sign in to disble this ad
When adding an extension cabinet to the ampeg B100-R, is it best to use an 8 or 4 ohm cabinet? Also, would a 250 watt handling 15 inch cab be best for use because of the matching speaker sizes?

I didn't think the B100R had an ext spkr jack. In fact, I'm almost certain it doesn't.

The line out is not for driving a speaker.

The B100r Line Out jack Is not an extension speaker jack. Its a preamp-level output made to connect to a mixer, recorder or an external Power amp, that could power additional speakers.

The B100R doesn't have an extension speaker jack. Its power amp is only rated down to 4 ohm. Its internal speaker is 4 ohm, so connecting any additional speakers would damage its power amp.
