Ampeg B115e question

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm about to get 2 B115e's next month. I'll be pushing them with an Ampeg PF500. Anyone know how hard they can pushed? Will they blow out easily? Should I get some backup Eminence speakers just in case? lol. The Ampeg site says they should be paired with a Portaflex 350 or 500 but I'm afraid if I get too loud with those 200watt speakers I'll trash em. Anybody have the B115e?

200w is the wattage they'll take before they start to fart out on you. 400w is the wattage that they'll blow on you. If you use common sense and back off if you start to hear signs like your speakers are in danger, you will be OK with a PF500.
