Ampeg B15N: Which Years Have The Lucite NamePlate?

Which years have the Lucite (Plexi) Ampeg nameplate? for the B15N Tube Amps?

I'm looking into getting one, but I seems like maybe only the 65-67 have that feature?

60-67, then the B-15R that came out in 97, and the Heritage B-15's that came out a couple years ago are the models with the name plate.

My '71 does'nt have one. Is it just a matter of getting one and screwing it on to the tube cover ?

Thanks for the help (range)!

Kind of, but it's also a matter of lighting inside the head.

You mean the sign has to be connected somehow ?

There are two tiny little light fixtures inside the heads with the logo plate. They shine up to the plate, which is installed with the bottom part slightly inside the head.

Gotcha. So, no love for me and my '71. :crying:

Mine does not have the slot in the chassis for the logo. It does, however, have the holes in the PCB where the lights should be.

If it were from '68 maybe but it's a little too young for that kind of love. :hiding:

Well not entirely true but thanks for the compliment ;) I'm learning and I have a lot to learn about non-SVT/B-15 amps.
