is a ampeg b2r and SVT 210AV compatible and good?

basically my first combo amp blew out and its going on 3 years playing. Want to get a nice small mini stack i have a chance to buy these two pieces which together would be about 370 usd. I know i can buy the micro cl by ampeg for 350 so i figure this is the better deal as wrong as it will work together. I know the amp is 250 watts vs the cabs 200 watts but i will not be cranking up to even half way i don't think so will it really matter?

If you were running into just one of those you would have a problem,. But with 2 it should be a breeze. I'm getting 2 as well but ill be using a 600w head whichruns 450w at 4ohms...that may be a problem. I may have to buy a 3rd Thats only if I like these cabs. Lemme know what you think of them!

It will work just fine.

I would do some research on the B2R/B2RE amps though.

If you like it, that is all that really matters, but these amps are widely considered to be some of the worst Ampeg has ever made.

YMMV of course.

I just picked up a B2RE, used, from a local guy, a USA made model. Know what? THIS AMP SOUNDS GREAT. I plan on using it for small to medium sized gigs with my 2x10, possibly with my 4 ohm 4x10, and as a backup when my SVT is in the shop.
