They reportedly aren't the best in the tone department, but if the price was right, I'd snatch one up and apply the universal fix (BDDI). They are easy to sell, if nothing else.

good enough

I've had one for about 6 years. It's my gigging amp. Keep telling myself I'll replace it when it dies. Just never does. I ALWAYS get compliments on my tone, whether through a 2X15 or 4X10. Even had guys that have the CL's and 8X10's tell me my tone rules. The "E's" are solid state 450W, so you may notice that it is not a true tube sound. Never had a headroom issue until recently (playing larger venues). The balanced out is noisy, so that's of no real use. The EQ options are solid IMO. So, if you're on a budget, it'll probably do what you need.

I had the B-2R but dumped it once I picked up a couple of Backline 600 GK heads. The backline just seems to have more oomph and I prefer the tone. It seems I always had to keep the bass knob dimed on the B-2R.
