Ampeg B3

Hi, I've only played some outdoor events with my Ampeg B3/ (1-15")/150 W/8 ohms and it has worked well for me. I've been told that in order to do indoor events I should at least have 300 W of sound. I have no experience playing indoor venues and don't understand why I need a louder rig than I have it this has worked at outside events just fine. Any thoughts on this or am I OK as is... Thanks

If you can get away with what you have outdoors you should be fine indoors.

I use an Ampeg B100R (100 watts) for both indoor and outdoor gigs. If the B3 works for you outside, it will be fine inside...

No need for more power inside if you're good outside with the B3.

It's generally the opposite of what you've been told. I always bring a bigger powered rig when I play outside.

Thanks for the input; don't want to upgrade if I don't have to... I'll cross that bridge when/if I come to it.
