Ampeg BA600/115 buzzing problem

I recently bought an ampeg ba600 which the seller informed me had a buzzing problem ( i got it dirt cheap ) . Im just wondering does anybody know how to fix it , how to remove the mesh/speaker guard at the front of the amp etc. Has anyone else had this problem ? Its a great amp but im wondering will i be able to fix it myself or have to get it done profesionally .

if i remember correctly its a common issue with the ba600's due to its power

It is ALWAYS better to have an amp serviced by a professional amp tech. You could actually do more harm than good. Consider a trip to the tech as part of the selling price.
