I just bought "The Fridge" to match up with my Ampeg SVT CL. I was wondering how some you bassist with the same set up EQ your amp to get the best possible sound. I play in a heavy rock setting with a P bass and I would like to get the best sound without getting mushy. I want to get a clear punchy sound that blends well with a high gain Tele run through a Mesa Boogie Triple Rec. Thanks in advance.

I have the same set-up and with the dials set at 5 I use the big muff or my vT and got good results. I like the gain past 5 and go from there.

On my friend's, I bumped mids a little bit, played with the frequency selector on 3 for a nice growly sound, on 4 or 5 for a more bright, cutting sound.

Honestly, you've pretty much got rock and roll bass sound just by plugging in and turning up.

eh, i can't do flat on an svt rig. all knobs nooned results in all low mids and nothing else. i always boost treble to about 2:00 and mids at 800hz (3rd position) at 2:30 or 3:00. that makes it sound close to flat response.

On my VR, I feel I have to boost the treble and the mids too, but on my II non-pro, I'm perfectly happy with all noon.
