Ok I received Ampeg SVT 2 SLM ERA.
I just wanted to sell it, untill i tried it. It is so rich in harmonics, that Mesa 400+ sounded very poor and dry in comparison to it. I fell in love with Ampeg sound at instant. It has more bottom than Mesa and more heights. I would say that it beats Mesa in every way, dont get me wrong Mesa is a great amp but Ampeg is unbielevable. It is more hi-fi than Mesa, but still has lot of warm, tubey sound.
I love it. |

Well I can't say anything bad about Mesa tube amps except 12 power tubes is crazy.
