Ampeg DD15 opinions or knowledge...HELP!

I found one of these for sale and was curious if anyone has seen or used one and what your opinions are. They seem rather unusual. 2 15" speakers with one facing the front and one facing the back. 400 watts at 4 ohms in a smallish cabinet.

i remember them. let's just say they were ok cabs, but were discontinued for a reason.
