Do any ampeg heads or combos currently in production have a "studio quality" headphone out?

I'm reposting this from previous thread so people can see it.

Down the road I'm going to end up replacing two speakers in my SVT-212e. They were already replaced once and have Peavey Scorpion 200 watt 12's in it now. I don't know what the cab is rated at, but I believe they're 4 ohm speakers.
Anyways, I need at least 300 watts at 8 ohms, and prefer American, Canadian, or European made Speakers. Price range is $200-300. Any suggestions?

Wow! They sound pretty sweet. 60 oz. ceramic magnet vs eminence's 4 oz magnet! And I'd rather buy handmade US speakers pay the extra than overseas speakers. Thanks vista, maybe I'll go with them.

I think you did. I had never been totally happy with my tone, and went through a lot of gear in the process. Usually I'm not one to blindly go with the crowd (I own no Fenders ). But when I finally had to up-size a little, it gave me a reason to toss out everything and just buy a dadgum Ampeg rig like so many have since caveman times. Best move I ever made.

I am going to try and pickup a smaller Ampeg cab for gigs when I don't need to mix people's drinks from across the room, but other than that I'm pretty much done looking for cabs and amps. Yes, it's a cliche, but I must honestly say that I've never been so happy with my tone.

I've got a number already, this is an update for the new little guy in the center. Picked him up locally from a CL ad. 2007 V4BH and svt115e. This suits my style, classic tube tone, enough power for a blues band and still portable enough. (44 lb. head/50 lb. cab.) The whole set up weighs about the same as the SVT head alone. Also shown are siblings on Left, '69 blueline B25b w/2-15 cab and on Right, '77 Magnavox SVT w/610hlf cab. New matching grills were made for the SVT/610.

Thanks jamzcl, it's nice to have a proper cab under this head, for the longest time I used 4-12's or an 18 and 2-10's. The 610 does the trick! The setup the came close though, was two 4-12 cabs, on either side of the drummer, that was pretty cool.

B-18 head versus B-25?

Curious if anyone here has had a B-18 head and a B-25 (or B25B) head together to compare or ever spent time to analyze the schematics between these two. Here in GA, michaturner and I are discussing these two Ampegs (he has the 18 and I have the 25). I speculated that some of the B-25 ideas grew out of a having a more "modern" version of a B-18, 55 watt amp, that is, one with separate head and cab, rather than Portaflex. That would have competed well against a Fender Bassman (in fact it KILLS a Bassman) and fit into the new line in 1969.

The tube set for the B-18 is (2) 7027, (2) 6SL7, 7199, 5AR4 and similar for the B-25 with the exception that (2) 12AX7s take the place of the 6SL7's in the preamp. I figure this may lead to a little more grind or edge of the B-25 versus a smoother-toned B-18.

All speculation. Anyone else ever look into comparing these two?
