Ampeg head more suitable for rock?

I play rock with a '76 Ampeg SVT and wouldn't change it for the world even though its a pain to lug around!

Yes ! svt-4pro , svtcl or the svt450h. the cabs should be ampeg either the 810E or the 410hlf...check out what rock bands in your local area are using. Most likely you'll see Ampegs .
