So I ask the bass amp experts, what type of cabs can I run off of the Micro-CL head? |

If not, well it's not too tricky for that one... It's 100 watts into 8 ohms, meaning it'll shoot 100 watts with an 8 ohms cab. A majority of cabs are 8 ohms, just take care not to use a 4 ohms cab. The logic with ohms is that you divide the rating instead of adding it when you use more then one cab. For example, two 8 ohms cab will give you a 4 ohms load. |

But the head comes with a cab with you buy it new--what happened to the cab?

So any cab rated to 8 ohms would work, great. What should i look for in watts? What would be the difference between a 2x10 and a 1x15. |

Differences between a 210 and 115? Unanswerable. You will play 210 cabs you like and hate, same with 115's. I might try to find an SVT210av since you have a Micro CL already.

Either that or Jimmy's second suggestion, the 210 thing. |

Either that or Jimmy's second suggestion, the 210 thing. | If that's true then it's the cab's fault, not the amp. I've played my Micro CL through an 8 ohm 115 cab and it sounded great.

The amp belongs to a friend of a friend, the head didn't take the fall, but will check it out regardless.
Mastemold, how is the volume? Can it hold its own in small Jam sessions with guitars and drums? |
