Ampeg Micro VR & PB250 head comparison

I am interested in a small Ampeg head to be paired with 2 ampeg SVT210 AV cabinets which I own and use. These 2 heads are enough small and powerful for my needs and can be bought used for a decent amount of money.
Have you ever had the chance to A/B test them?

The Micro VR is a current head, and the Portabass heads haven't been made in years, which means the likelihood of getting parts for them if they break grows dimmer with every passing year. The 50w difference isn't significant in any way, either. I'd totally go Micro VR.
