Ampeg Micro VR vs. GK MB 150

Sign in to disble this ad
Have had a MB150 (or whatever it was called years ago) for at least 10 years; it works just fine and is an easy carry for small projects. Unfortuneately I find it only useful for practice and acoustic projects.

Can anyone compare the micro VR to these small GK combos that are approximately 100 watts with a single 12" (these are the amps that have an aluminium cabinet http://www.gallien-krueger.com/products_mb_series.html).
Interested in the differences between overall performance, bass response, and the ability to move some air.
