Ampeg PF-350 questions

I know there's a monster thread but most of it is focusing on the 500. I'm interested in how the 350 is doing. I love my B-100R and I'm hoping to upgrade to a 350 with twin 15 cabinets. So hows the little guy working out and is this the right choice for the sound I want.

I picked one up because it was the only one in stock at the time and planned to get the 500 later on. I like the 350 so much i wont bother getting the 500 now. You have to run the imput gain about 3/4 with a passive bass but the amp has plenty of volume and the tone is great. I am using it through a 410 now but i have 2 of the 15's on order.

I think the 350's fantastic if you're a fan of the B100R.

I'm super thrilled with my BF-350... love that Ampeg sound... SVT, B-15, it's got them. With a few twists of the gain and EQ knobs there are more modern sounds available. I really like the simple controls, small form factor (7 pounds), quality construction. Supposedly it has a fan, but I've not heard it ;-)

I run it into a super-efficient, large (4 cu.ft), ported, 1x12 home-built cabinet (35 pounds) as my gig rig (42 pounds!). Easy to move, sounds incredible, low end to die for, and louder than I need to be. I 've added a 15" cab for fun, but it wasn't necessary... perhaps for an outdoor show.

Loud Technologies (Ampeg) has scored with the PF-350!
