Does anyone know why Ampeg isnt making the pro neo 410hlf in a 4ohm setup? you would think itd be 4ohm like the standard 410hlf. im looking for a light weight 4x10 cab thats 4ohms and i can run my svtcl through it. i was really interested in the pro neo ampegs but I dont want an 8ohm cab. any ideas? or reccomendations?

It doesnt really make that much sense to me to make an 8ohm cab thats 850 watts rms when most amps are even doing close to that at 4ohms let alone 8ohms

Why would you want to anyway ? (please DO NOT say "to get all the watts from my amp" either)

Gotcha
Don't know "why" it is not available in a 4 ohm cab. You would think with Ampegs buying power, they could have any speaker they want produced in whatever ohm configuration they needed ????

I think Ampeg has intended for these to be mated with each other, not that you have to... YouTube - PRO NEO Demo Part 1 Features, Benefits and Factory.mov

It's a 4Ω 6x10 that goes great with an SVT. It's a little bit heavy but has tilt back wheels.
Otherwise, get two PN-410HLF cabs or two PN-210 cabs . You can daisy chain two 8Ω cabs in parallel for 4Ω total load. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
