I have a chance to buy this amp for $550.00. Good price? bad price? It waqs retubed in 2009. Everything works fine, all the major problems are cosmetic. What do you guys thnk? Thanks. |

| | | I saw a photo of Jamerson playing through what I thought was a '63. In other photo's he is using a later model. If a '63 was good enough for Jamerson, it might be worth getting. Here is a thread where someone claims to have a B-15 that was once owned by Jamerson. There is a pic of the amp and they later state that they replaced the transformers with a 1963 set from the same era. The vinyl covering and the speaker cabinet connector in the pic were used in the 63 model. Perhaps the amp is indeed a 1963 model.
