It has a fifteen inch speaker, so I am assuming B15, but I don't know for sure yet.

The B15 is more desirable, but what the heck. Buy it now if you can! They wonderful amps. I have a 1964 B15N. It is an ABSOLUTE classic!

If you decide not to take it, and it isn't broken... you will likely at some point come to regret it. Possibly for the rest of your life. But hey, you'll make somebody else super happy, so it all evens out.

it would have to be completely trashed and bent up for it not to be worth $550.

I saw a photo of Jamerson playing through what I thought was a '63. In other photo's he is using a later model. If a '63 was good enough for Jamerson, it might be worth getting.

Here is a thread where someone claims to have a B-15 that was once owned by Jamerson. There is a pic of the amp and they later state that they replaced the transformers with a 1963 set from the same era. The vinyl covering and the speaker cabinet connector in the pic were used in the 63 model. Perhaps the amp is indeed a 1963 model.

well it's not a 63...more like between 65 and 67...but still an incredible deal.
