Smile Ampeg SV7 pro Bass.

Shopping for a new bass amp. I would like an Ampeg. Any recommendations. I have my eye on SV7 Pro Bass.
Se one mentioned must get made in USA as much better. How do I go about it? And is this a good one? I am in a stoner metal band and need warm round powerful bottom end at detuned C.
Cheers!

There have never been any 7 Pros manufactured in the US that I know of. I think it's a fantastic head...definitely my favorite of the lightweight designs out there.

I would do some research before you buy this head. A lot of the earlier ones had issues, so I reccommend you buy new.

I had one, it was awesome, but it kept cutting out on me. Stay away from Revision A.

If you get a new one it will likely be a D revision. I have the previous C revision and it has worked flawlessly since I got it. Great head.
