hello there, i recently retubed (power and driver section) on my svt 2 pro, i installed electro harmonix kt88s and jj on the driver section, can some one tell me what each preamp tube is for, and what kind of preamp tubes will fit better for a thick, round, punchy sound, kind of like Betty Page, phat bottom, solid mids, and clean highs, im ussing 2 jj ecc82, 3 electro harmonix 12ax7s and 1 gt 12ax7, if yous think this is a good combination can yous tell me wich order i should install them, or should just go all jj or some brand of tubes, balance unbalance etc, thank you for your input on this matter. |
