Ampeg SVT 2 Pro sounding weak!

My svt 2 pro has been sounding rather thin to my ears. I got all new power tubes installed about four months ago so i dont think its that. Could it be my preamp or driver tubes>? It just kind of sounds thin. Playing with hwy 1 p bass and 810 svt.

When I crank up the drive knob it gets even thinner sounding. Doesnt sound horrible but its just lacking ballz. Any suggestions?

Do ya run dual cabs? (if so, i was thinking they might me wired out of phase from each other...)

I would check your driver tubes. the 12AU7's.

I had one of mine go, and the amp got distorted earlier and sounded very thin.

when I replaced them it sounded good again.

Might be worth it to have the bias checked also.............
