Ampeg SVT-210AV Question, But Not About Sound

I have played through the cab with the Micro VR amp and I have no issue with the sound.

What I am concerned about is the durability of the cab. I have seen several used ones on eBay and there seems to be an issue with the Tolex coming off on the back. To the auctioners' credit, each one provides a picture of the back of the cabinet where the Tolex was coming off.

Can anyone else speak to this? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I got 2 of them, the tolex comes off on both... And I only took them out like 5 times..... Other than that, great cabs!!

I have one of the very first SVT210AV cabs and the tolex was peeling away from the cab in the back and bottom, so I just used some black duct tape and bam, good to go. That being said, it's a small price to pay for a killer sounding, portable cab at that price.

Hmm...Ive got one and have gigged with it a bunch of times and have no problems whatsoever.

Hmm... There must be some sort of glue to fix it? I've got a "peeler" coming in next week myself so was wondering how to properly fix it
