ampeg svt-3 pro to 2x10 and 1x15

I just got an Ampeg SVT-3 Pro head and 2 Ampeg cabs (SVT210HE & BSE115, both are 8 ohms). The amp has 2 1/4" outputs and 1 Speakon output, which I believe are all parallel. The 210 has 2 speakon inputs and 2 1/4" inputs, the 115 has 2 1/4" inputs.

What is the best way to hook this bad boy up?

Currently, I have a speakon going from amp to the 210 and a 1/4" going from amp to the 115. I'm wondering, though, whether it would be better to run the 1/4" from 210 to 115, instead.

Does it even matter? Could someone please enlighten me?

The way you have it hooked up is just fine. My LMIII has one speakon and one 1/4"...I run speakon to 210, and 1/4" to 15.

I've never really heard much about running speaker cabs in series...so I wouldn't be able to comment. I'd say just run it the way youare.
