ampeg svt 350 problem

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an intermittent problem with my svt. 2 times it has basically turned it self off. It hasn't happened during playing but during standby time. It's happened at 2 different venues and it turns back on when I turn the switch off and on again.
Anyone experience this or have any ideas.
thanks,
martin

When you say "turned itself off", do you mean "no lights", or "lights but no sound"?

How about a bad switch?

Loose connection in the AS power section?

Not much else in there to do that. the transformer overtemp would stay off and would not reset with the switch.........

Correct me if I wrong, but I don't think an SVT 350 has a standby switch???? it's a solid state head.....

yep.... "standby" time would be "amp is on, not being used, gain turned down (at least we hope it's turned down).
