Ampeg SVT 450 Power Board

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi
I'm based in the UK and cannot find a distributor for Ampeg parts. I have an SVT 450h that needs a replacement power board.
Could anyone help me with tracking down this part? UK would be great, but I will order from US if necessary.
Many thanks.
Regards
Ceri

Your going to have to find a local tech that can repair the board. As far as I know Ampeg does not sell replacement boards to the public.
These amps are fairly easy to repair for anyone with Solid State repair experience. The parts are available from pretty much any electronics supply house.

That's a pretty standard Ampeg power amp, mosfet type. Anyone who can repair a 4 PRO can fix that. I have the schematic for the power amp if needed.

Replacing the board is not the first choice for these products, (it is for new surface mount PWBs, in many cases). The tech is intended to actually fix the board......... I know that is shocking and dismaying, but so be it.........
